About this Presenter
Heather Battaglia is a front-end developer at 18F, within the General Services Administration. In her role, she works hand-in-hand with designers and product owners to ensure that United States government services are usable and accessible for all. Prior to joining the federal government, she was an editorial developer at the Chicago Tribune, where she helped establish guidelines for accessible data visualizations and mapping. She currently lives in Denver, Colorado, where she and her husband hope to be able to go hiking again soon.
